movie challenge catchup v.32

And so ends my movie challenge… It took me much longer than a year to finish, but I think I’m willing to do this again. Maybe next year.

Movie #361: Chronicle

Pretty good, I guess but too much teenage angst in that one kid. 7/10.

Movie #362: Seven Below

Sad attempt at a scary movie. 4/10.

Movie #363: Swordsmen

Pretty good, I mean obs its Donnie Yen, the fight choreo is good. 7.5/10.

Movie #364: My Kingdom

The choreo was definitely not as good as Donnie Yen’s and the story is just a mess. Too many characters with too many goals. 6/10.

Movie #365: Love on Credit

Goal in life: marry a guy with a Platinum card. or Black card. Gold card. Even better, all three. 6/10.

movie challenge catchup v.31

Movie #351: Chatroom

So. Weird. Also I didn’t expect the main guy to have such a gay voice. 5/10.

Movie #352: Haywire

The style/cinematography/music is very reminiscent of the Oceans movies (same director), but the lady (don’t know her name) isn’t very believable as the main character. It would’ve been a pretty good movie if they got another chick to play the part. Also, I’m adding an extra point for Channing Tatum, as always. 7.5/10.

Movie #353: The Darkest Hour

I honestly think the concept could have made for a pretty good movie, but the way this was carried out sucked. And the acting was kind of lame. Plus the two “main” characters died and I didn’t appreciate that. Also, couldn’t they have just made a rolling glass box and travel that way instead?? 5.5/10.

Movie #354: The Hulk

Jennifer Connelly is really pretty in this movie but um Eric Bana should not be the Hulk. Also, the movie has pretty bad audio and I hate the transitioning of the scenes. 5/10.

Movie #355: The Incredible Hulk

A much better one, though I understand it’s supposed to be a sequel. Best part is Robert Downey Jr.’s cameo at the end. 7/10.

Movie #356: Inventing the Abbotts

Love the costumes in this one. 7/10.

Movie #357: The Private Lives of Pippa Lee

Not my type of movie, but hey Keanu Reeves ;) 6.5/10

Movie #358: The Day the Earth Stood Still

Ehhhhh, 6/10.

Movie #359: Love

Love how everyone can be traced to each other. Could have been better but it was good enough for me, I mean, despite the cheesiness. 7.5/10

Movie #360: We Bought A Zoo

I had my doubts about this movie. Actually, many doubts. But it turned out to be really good. 8/10.

movie challenge catchup v.30

Movie #341: The Iron Lady

Meryl Streep was good but the storyline wasn’t what I was expecting. 7/10.

Movie #342: Happythankyoumoreplease

The part about “walk it off” was legit. Other than that, the movie was merh. 6/10.

Movie #343: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

More about loss and moving on than the 9/11 story, but I thought it was good. 7.5/10.

Movie #344: Remember Me

WTH It wasn’t as bad as I expected but the end totally threw me off. 6.5/10.

Movie #345: The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel

It was a good, light movie but I wish they delved more into the characters. 7.5/10.

Movie #346: The Romantics

I found it an odd cast combination, but it worked. I wish I had a group of friends as fun as that.

Movie #347: Underworld Awakening

See, whenever humans get involved, it takes the fun out of everything. I was excited for this but very disappointed. 6/10.

Movie #348: Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows

As much as I love Robert Downey Jr., ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. 5/10.

Movie #349: Contraband

I thought it was pretty good, but I love heist/. 7/10.

Movie #350: The Vow

I WAS RIGHT THE ENDING SUCKED. 5/10. Jk Ill add one point cause of Channing Tatum. 6/10.
